Feathers for Flight · Nº 02 · A letter

Every good field keeps a cadence.

September 2026 · A one-minute read — a letter before Monday

Dear Learner… every good field keeps a cadence. Prepare. Plant. Harvest. Rest.

A season to prepare the land… because seed thrown on unbroken ground feeds the birds, not the family.

A season to plant… this is where action takes place and faith is shown.

A season to harvest… when what was planted shows itself. Most people talk about harvest like it just happens. This is when the real work is done. Always count your harvest honestly… what is your actual harvest, not what you wish it is.

And a season to rest the land… because soil that never rests stops giving, and this applies to people too.

Mine happen to run long; yours might run in months. The lengths are yours to find. I'd only suggest you have all four. Knowing which season you're in changes what you do with your days.

I'm planting.
